UNCLAIMED ITEMS STORAGE POLICY

1. STORAGE PERIOD
All completed items not picked up within sixty (60) days of service completion notification shall be
considered unclaimed property. The sixty-day period begins when Sharper Tools provides written or
electronic notice that services have been completed and items are ready for pickup.
2. NOTIFICATION PROCESS
Sharper Tools will make reasonable efforts to contact customers regarding completed items through:
• Phone calls to the number provided at time of service
• Email notifications to the address on file
• Text messages if phone number provided supports SMS
Customers are responsible for maintaining current contact information with Sharper Tools.
3. STORAGE FEES
No storage fees will be charged during the initial sixty (60) day period. After sixty days, Sharper Tools
reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees of $5.00 per item per week until items are
claimed or disposed of according to this policy.
4. DISPOSAL OF UNCLAIMED ITEMS
Items remaining unclaimed after the sixty-day period may be:
• Donated to charitable organizations
• Sold at public or private sale
• Disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner
• Retained by Sharper Tools for business use
5. PROCEEDS FROM SALE
Any proceeds from the sale of unclaimed items, after deduction of storage costs, disposal fees, and
reasonable administrative expenses, will be held for the original owner for a period of one (1) year
from the date of sale.
6. LIABILITY LIMITATION
After the sixty-day storage period expires, Sharper Tools shall have no liability for loss, damage, or
disposal of unclaimed items. Customers acknowledge that continued storage of unclaimed items beyond the specified period is at the sole discretion of Sharper Tools.
7. EXCEPTIONS
Sharper Tools may, at its sole discretion, extend storage periods for items of extraordinary value or in
cases of documented customer hardship. Such extensions must be agreed upon in writing.
8. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By utilizing Sharper Tools services, customers acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to
be bound by this Unclaimed Items Storage Policy.
